BOQ Preparation – Complete Civil Engineering Guide

Civil Construction Project के लिए Bill of Quantities (BOQ) कैसे तैयार करें? Item, Description, Unit, Quantity, Rate और Amount की पूरी Practical Guide।

📋 BOQ क्या होता है?

BOQ का पूरा नाम Bill of Quantities है। यह किसी Civil Construction Project में किए जाने वाले विभिन्न construction items, उनकी quantity, unit, rate और estimated amount को व्यवस्थित रूप से दर्शाने वाला document होता है।

BOQ का उपयोग Building Construction, Road Work, Water Supply, Drainage, RCC Work और अन्य Civil Engineering Projects में estimation, tendering, rate comparison और contractor billing के लिए किया जाता है।

📊 BOQ में कौन-कौन से Columns होते हैं?

1️⃣ Item No.

हर construction item को एक unique serial number दिया जाता है।

2️⃣ Description

काम का पूरा description, specification और work item detail लिखी जाती है।

3️⃣ Unit

काम को मापने की unit जैसे Cum, Sqm, Rm, Kg, MT और Nos.।

4️⃣ Quantity

Measurement और calculation के आधार पर work की total quantity।

5️⃣ Rate

एक unit work की applicable rate, जैसे ₹/Cum या ₹/Sqm।

6️⃣ Amount

Quantity और Rate को multiply करके total amount निकाला जाता है।

Amount = Quantity × Rate

📑 Standard BOQ Format

नीचे एक सामान्य Civil Construction BOQ का basic format दिया गया है।

📝 BOQ कैसे तैयार करें?

  1. Drawing को समझें: Architectural, Structural और Services Drawings को ध्यान से पढ़ें।
  2. Work Items की List बनाएं: Project में होने वाले सभी Civil Work Items की सूची तैयार करें।
  3. Quantity Calculate करें: Drawing और Measurement के आधार पर प्रत्येक item की quantity निकालें।
  4. Unit Select करें: प्रत्येक item के लिए applicable measurement unit निर्धारित करें।
  5. Rate Apply करें: Applicable SOR, BSR, DSR या approved rate के अनुसार rate लें।
  6. Amount Calculate करें: Quantity × Rate करके प्रत्येक item का amount निकालें।
  7. Total BOQ Value निकालें: सभी items के amount को जोड़कर total estimated cost निकालें।

🧮 Practical BOQ Calculation Example

मान लीजिए किसी project में PCC Work की quantity 12 Cum है और applicable rate ₹5,500 प्रति Cum है।

Quantity = 12 Cum
Rate = ₹5,500 / Cum

Amount = 12 × 5,500
Amount = ₹66,000

इस प्रकार BOQ में PCC Work के सामने Quantity 12 Cum, Rate ₹5,500 और Amount ₹66,000 दर्ज किया जाएगा।

📚 BOQ में BSR / SOR का उपयोग

Government Civil Works में BOQ तैयार करते समय applicable BSR / SOR (Schedule of Rates) का उपयोग किया जा सकता है। Rate selection संबंधित department, project और contract conditions के अनुसार किया जाना चाहिए।
